Farrah Fawcett Dies At 62 Years old.
NEW YORK -- Farrah Fawcett, the 1970s "It Girl" who was known for her cascading golden hair, has been given her last rites, sources close to the actress tell Barbara Walters. Farrah Fawcett has died
Enduring a two and half year battle with cancer, those closest to Fawcett warn that these could be her final hours.
"I'm not sure if she's going to make it through the day," Walters said on "Good Morning America." "She's had her last rites."
As Fawcett clings to life, members of her inner circle, Dr. Lawrence Piro and longtime love Ryan O'Neal are gathered at her hospital bedside.
I am so sad to hear this. She was suffering so badly so it really is a God send but such a sad few years for her.

Is It Fair?
Emilie De Ravin of Lost who got to spend years on a tropical island with the likes of Josh Holloway (my last celebrity crush) now gets to make out on another beach (quite different than the paradise of Lost) with my (newest celebrity crush) Robert Pattinson! Don't get all uppity, although he is wearing his signature plaid and his dark sunglasses, they are actually filming a scene for their new movie Remember Me.
Geez why did she get the "lucky as hell" card. She must have done something right in her last life. Lucky bitch!

MTV Movie Awards Were Ummm...Interesting
Being 42, MTV USED to be a big part of my life until about 9 years ago when they stopped the videos and went over to sitcoms, reality shows and news.
I felt extremely old last night because:
1. I had no idea who was hosting.
2. It seemed awkward
3. I didn't even know Eminem had been gone.
4. The dresses all look so weird to me.
5. That whole Sasha Cohen thing was just bizarre
7. I couldn't follow the whole LeAnne Rhimes, Chris Isaak, Forest Whitaker thing.
8. What was up with the whole Keifer Sutherland thing? Why did it have to go on for so long?
9. Was Kristan and Rob supposed to kiss? It was just so weird.
10. When did Jim Carey stop being funny?
11. What was up with the Will Farrell cat thing?
12. I don't get Zac Efron's hair. It's like some weird comb over. Like he rode over in a convertible and failed to look in a mirror on his way in. WTF!
Why does a beautiful girl like this have to seem so odd? She is stunning but then is awkward in her own skin.
My favorite moment next to the kiss was when Kristen drops the award. So cute! Poor thing! Then at the end her gum pops out of her mouth. She is oddly awkward but so adorable.

I Am Truly Sad
She was 4 years old and her 7 year old brother found her ran to their mom who started CPR before the ambulance got there.
I am just so sad to know that little girl is dead. This is the kind of thing that scares that crap out of parents. We can do everything to protect our children, accidents are just that. Something that wasn't meant to happen but did.
My heart goes out to the entire family who had to pull her from life support today.

Charlie's Angel's Family Is Reportedly Saying Good-bye
Farrah, 62, was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006 and has fought this disease long and hard. According to People, she was in remission but then the cancer returned.
If this is true, this is so sad. No one should have to suffer the way she is.

Looks Can Be Deceiving But.....
I find this picture hysterical. Not because Rob and Kristin Stewert seem to be dazzling each other which is what half the internet is saying. But, that chick in the front who was caught in mid blink is hysterical. Poor chick! She is in the same picture with Rob and she has to see that face posted everywhere.Yes, it does appear that they are close but they ARE at a concert. You have to get up in everyone's grill to hear each other. I am sure my friends and I looked like we were ready to make out when we are talking at a concert.
If they are...lucky her! She does have that I love you look going though.

Dom DeLuise RIP
You have to know who Dom DeLuise is, if you don't then you haven't really laughed.
Growing up, we were big Dom DeLuise fans. My father was a Mel Brooks fan and we watched all his movies over and over, so much so that we could recite lines verbatum. We loved Silent Movie, Blazing Saddles, History of the World and Space Balls.
Some of my favorite Dom DeLuise movies are:
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes Smarter Brother
The World's Greatest Lover
The End
Fatso
Smokey and the Bandit II
History of the World Part I
Only my family will get this one but "you ate the ony!"
It is a sad day in the comedy world! I was heartbroken to hear this news. My sister's and I always said that he looked like our father and hearing of his passing, actually hurt my heart.
My prayers go out to his family.

Rob Pattinson Takes The Lead
MTV is reporting that Rob has officially taken the lead role in “Remember Me.” Pattinson will play the lead role in “Remember Me,” a story of a young couple whose burgeoning relationship is complicated by a succession of family tragedies that test their bond, according to ScreenDaily.com. The makers of the film, which had previously been titled “Memoirs,” have not yet settled on which actress who will play Pattinson’s love interest.
Emmy-winning director Allen Coulter (”The Sopranos,” “Damages”) will direct, and Jenny Lumet, who penned the script for last year’s critical darling “Rachel Getting Married,” is working on a draft of the screenplay.
After “New Moon” wraps in May, Pattinson will head to New York to shoot “Remember Me,” which will finish in time for the actor to begin filming the third “Twilight” movie, “Eclipse,” in August.I'm all for more Rob DVD's for me to obsess over.

Bea Arthur Dead at 86
Spokesman Dan Watt said Bea had cancer, but did not offer any further details. Arthur passed away at home early this morning.
Arthur achieved success as the title character, Maude Findlay, on the 1970s sitcom Maude, and as Dorothy Zbornak on the 1980s sitcom The Golden Girls. Arthur won an Emmy for each of those roles.
Arthur was married twice, first to Robert Alan Aurthur, a screenwriter, television, and film producer and director, whose surname she took and kept though with a modified spelling, and second to director Gene Saks from 1950 to 1979 with whom she adopted two sons, Matthew (born 14 July 1961), an actor, and Daniel (born 8 May 1964), a set designer.
I was sad to read that Bea Arthur had died today. The Golden Girls were a show that my roommates and I used to watch all the time. We joked about which one of us was which and how one day, we would all be married, divorce, lose husbands and end up together again just like the Golden Girls.
We quoted the show all the time too....
Here are some classics:
Dorothy: Oh c'mon, Blanche. Age is just a state of mind.
Blanche: Tell that to my thighs.
Rose: My mother always used to say: "The older you get, the better you get, unless you're a banana."
Dorothy: Blanche, are you sure you're pregnant?
Blanche: I just did a home pregnancy test - it's right here.
Rose: It looks like a perfume sample.
Dorothy: Put it behind your ears, Rose.
Blanche: You know what the worst part about getting older is?
Dorothy: Your face, Rose's hands?
Rose: Sophia, why are you in such a bad mood?
Sophia: Excuse me Rose, but I haven't had sex in fifteen years and its starting to get on my nerves.
Dorothy: Hi, ma. Where are you going?
Sophia: To the boardwalk. I like to watch the old guys rearrange themselves when they come out of the water.
Dorothy: Hi, ma. Where are you going?
Sophia: To the boardwalk. I like to watch the old guys rearrange themselves when they come out of the water.
Rose: Can I ask a dumb question?
Dorothy: Better than anyone I know.
Blanche: I treat my body like a temple.
Sophia: Yeah, open to everyone, day or night.
Blanche: Oh girls... I'm just in ecstasy. My body is tingling all over. You will never guess what just happened.
Sophia: We know what happened. Let us just guess what part of the Middle East he's from.
Rose: You don't understand. Everyone likes me-I'm the nice one! Dorothy is the smart one, Blanche is the sexy one, Sophia is the old one, and I'm the nice one! EVERYBODY likes me!
Sophia: The old one isn't so crazy about you.
And our personal favorite:
Sophia: Picture this Sicily, 1942 only we would change it to "picture this Jersey City 1982"
This show was classic and I think they were way ahead of their time. The jokes were funny. They were Sex In The City without the hot sex, beautiful clothes, and good looking chicks. Instead of cosmos at the bar they were drinking coffee with a pound cake around the Formica kitchen table. Loved it!
Rest in Peace Bea
