Melissa Rycroft is the 13th Member of DWTS

I am beyond excited for Melissa.

If you don't know who Melissa is than you have been living in a cave.

Melissa is the girl who the current bachelor dumped on national TV last week.

America is in love with Melissa and I personally wish her luck as she starts the next stage of her life.

Go Melissa, I may have to vote for the first time. She has been dancing forever, so hopefully she won't suck.

The Bachelor Season 13 - Episode 7

Jason still doesn't know who "the one" is.

He is meeting the girls in New Zealand this week.

He knows Jillian is fun, funny, and easy to talk to.
He wonders if she is too independent for him.

His relationship with her is past the fun part but is there a romantic connection. He is looking for the passion to step up.

He knows Molly has beautiful eyes. He can stare at her all night long. He loved meeting Molly's family.

He is ready to talk their relationship to the next level.

He thinks Melissa reminds him of DeAnna and his Ex. He obviously has a type.

He thinks she is ready for a family and wondered if she had real feelings for her.

He feels there relationship has progressed and he loved their date in Seattle. He felt like a couple with her and Ty.

He is concerned about her family and that he wasn't able to meet them. He isn't sure if she is really serious. He wants to find out more about this in New Zealand.

So kids, New Zealand is do or die for these ladies. He is looking forward to his overnight dates with these ladies.

=================================================================================
Jason picks Jillian up in a helicopter. She looks amazing and she is "floored". His reaction to her family, intensified her feelings for him. The look adorable as they throw themselves into each others arms. They are even dressed the same, plaid shirts and jeans and all, cute!

Romance is in the air and they stroke each others hands and tell us how great it is. New Zealand is truly beautiful.

They sit on a cliff, drink wine and she asks him to describe her. "Fun, gorgeous" he says. She feels attracted to him, and that they have a connection and that he gets her. She tells us that she is falling in love with him. He is still looking for passion. They stand no a cliff and he sees this as a metaphor for their relationship.

Jillian and Jason meet for their evening date at a local winery. He loved his date with her and he is excited to be around her and to see what happens next.

Jason asks Jillian how she feels about all of this and it takes her a year to respond. When she sees him she gets butterflies but when she isn't with him, she is ok too. She didn't expect that they would have such a connection. She loves it. She tells him she is crazy about him. She has never felt that someone is more meant for her than he is.

He is excited that she said that because he needed to hear that. She asks if he has something to give her and he pulls out the fantasy suite card. She asks if he could handle a whole night with her. Urmmmmm...ummmmm...she wants to see if they connect physically because it will be a long night. "Can he handle the fire?!"

Jason has incredible feelings for Jill. He thinks his family will get along with her better than anyone else. He thinks that he is falling in love with her. We get to see waaayyyy too much of their private time. Hello....soft porn on ABC at 8:30 pm. Jason and Jill spend a lot of time kissing and stroking each other. She has her legs wrapped around his butt and there is quite a lot going on. Ummm...I am blushing just watching them. Holy censorship ABC!
==============================================================================
Jason meets up with Molly and they head over to bungee jump. They both seem ready to shit their pants. It looks wet and cold as they kiss and count down to jump. They are also dressed the same.

The fall and Jason screams all the way down. They dangle, hug and kiss. I give these people credit, I would never have been able to jump.

Afterward they sup something hot and some fruit. A bit different from Jillian lying on a fuzzy rug drinking wine on a cliff.

Molly comes with a list and proceeds to ask him a bunch of nonrelevant questions such as the food he would eat if he could only eat one thing and his favorite ice cream. "How can he propose to me if I don't know his favorite ice cream."

They meet up for the evening date and Molly tells us how nervous she is. Jason tells us that he adores her. He wants to see if she cares. He needs her to show him how she feels. Basically he needs her to jump his bones and wrapping her legs around him.

Jason tries to fish, by asking her some open ended questions. He feels that he has to pull things from her. He tells her about his observations on her family and how they seemed that they are reserved with their emotions. She says that is why she doesn't show her emotions but wants him to know that she is feeling it. She has a wall up and wishes she could be more showy.

Poor Molly, she can't help how she is. She tells him that she really feels that she is falling in love with him. It seemed tense until she said that. Light bulb or woody, Jason seemed more chipper after she told him that. She tells him that she wants to get to know him a little more.

Molly hands Jason a card that asks him to spend the night with her. He knew he was in for a good night. I think his suite was nicer so they probably spent the night there.

===============================================================================
Jason is ready to see Melissa. He and Melissa run to each other and she does a Jillian by wrapping herself around him while he twirls around.

Melissa is really worried about the whole not meeting her family thing. They get to use Winston Churchill's boat around the lake. He says they have a lot of passion so he expects this day to be awesome.

They discuss the last rose ceremony and the emotions being high because of the whole heart break issue. He asks if it is worth it and she says "absolutely". They kiss and I really wish she would close her legs.

They are very comfortable together an he has no doubts about her but he needs to talk to her about her family.

Wow....they are in such a beautiful place. The hot tub and the view, nice!

He brings up the parent thing and he tells her that he would have loved to have met them. He asks her what she would tell them right now. She says, she would tell them that he makes her happy and she wishes that they could see how happy he makes her. He says that there is nothing her parents could do or say that would change his mind about Melissa. "I can love Melissa without her parents, but it could only go so far."

Jason waits for Melissa for their evening date only he isn't very dressed. She looks adorable in her black dress and sparkly heels and he has on jeans and a shirt.

On their date they discuss her parents and her brother. She talks to her brother 5 times a week and sees her parents 2 times weekly. She calls herself a mothers girl. She wants him to know how scared she was to tell him that he wouldn't be meeting her parents. She asks if it is a really big deal. She is sad when he tells her that it would have really liked to meet them but that he met her friends and that balanced it out. She looks ready to cry and he hands her the fantasy suite card. She says, "absolutely."

Jason is looking for that next step. He wants to see if he can fall in love with her. She wants to tell him that she loves him.

She tells him how scared she is and he says nothing is going to scare him. She tells him that she has never felt like this. She tells him that she is head over heels in love with him. He barely lets her finish before stopping her with a kiss. He tells her that she is amazing and he thanks her.

Jason tells us that he has completely fallen for her and that he has been for a long time. He already feels loved by her and having that in his life would be wonderful.

==================================================================================
This week was one of the best weeks of Jason's life. He says they are all beautiful, all have huge hearts and he could envision all 3 of them as his wife. He has no idea who he is sending home.
===================================================================================
Jason tells them that he is falling for all of them for different reasons. It hurts him that he has to break someone's heart.

The first rose goes to Melissa who looks adorable in her prom dress. The next and last rose goes to Molly. I had typed Jillian but had to erase it. I am actually shocked that he picked her over Jillian.

I think Jill is just too confident and strong for him. Jason likes to be the man, the main reason for someone's existence. He tells her not to doubt that he didn't have strong feelings for her. He never meet someone like her. Their lives are different. He tells her that he wouldn't be able to keep up with her.

She doesn't think her life is that different. She was hoping he would see how great their life could be.

He felt that they were on the path of "friends". She tells him that at the end of the day, you had to be friends.

She tells him of a dream she had with Ty and how it was the best dream ever.

He seems uncomfortable. He wishes he could just have said his nice words and she would have said thank you and walked. She has a need to tell him how she feels. She tells him that she has completely fallen in love with him. They hug and he walks her out.

At the car, they hug and she sobs into his arms. Jason is visably sad as she drives away.

Jason sits and cries. Is he sad that he had to break her heart or is he sad that he may have made a mistake? Only Jason knows.

Molly tells us that she found what she was looking for with Jason and this wasn't how she wanted it to end.

He tells us that sending Jill home was hard. He just wasn't in love with her.

It is interesting, the whole time he is saying, "one of you I will spend my life with, and I can't wait to introduce you to Ty" he was looking at Melissa. He turned to Molly when he said, "I can't wait to introduce you to my family."

Are the forums right? Is it Melissa? I can't wait to find out.

The Bachelor - Season 13 - Episode 6

We get to go on the hometown dates and this loser is so excited. Yes, I admit it...I suck.

We start off with Jason telling us about the girls. First up, Jillian. Jason thinks she is smart and beautiful. I have to assume their is a lot edited out because honestly, I don't know why he has a connection with her. I haven't really seen them together. For me, she gets lost in the background.

He tells us about Molly. He feels she has the prettiest eyes we have ever seen. He likes that she knows what she wants. I must be missing something because I don't see it. He feels that he can't get deep enough with Molly.

Noami he feels is gorgeous, beautiful and fun. He finds her to be a free spirit. He thinks she is very serious about marriage and that her eyes are wide open to life. His concern is, will she be ready for HIS life. He isn't sure. He knows she is looking for adventure and he doesn't want to be the one to clip her wings.

He says he pre-judged her. "Why would someone like her come here for him." He felt she was too beautiful. He felt that his first kiss had sparks on both ends. He felt that his first impression was wrong. He just wants to spend more time with Melissa. He feels that everything is too right and perfect with her. He is looking for her faults and can't wait to meet her family to find out more about her.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jason and Jillian rush toward each other and kiss. Jillian's hometown looks beautiful and cold. Jillian tells Jason about Bogobogo who lives in the water (like the Loch Ness) who touched her foot when she was a child.

Then they head into a winery but Jason tells us that the winery isn't as beautiful as Jillian.

While sitting in front of a fireplace, drinking wine, Jillian informs Jason that her mother was diagnosed with "like" depression. She tells him about how her mother has tried to "like take her own life and the times her mother "like" spent months in a hospital. She cries when she tells him how lucky she is to have her parents. He tells her that they are lucky to have her and they kiss. She thanks him for listening. Jason tells her that he had some of that in his family too. Damn, I should have counted how many times she said "like". Grrr...

He tells us he now knows why she had to be the rock that she is.

Jillian's family are holding Canadian flags when they walk in. Her father drapes a flag around Jason and they hug. Jason seems really comfortable. Jillian feels there is a lot of energy in the room and that Jason would fit in nicely.

Jillian's mom reads a toast to Jillian written just for her about how precious she is to her family. Jillian's mom takes Jason outside to talk, and unrolls a huge scroll. They laugh and she starts the questioning. Jillian's mom cracks me up. She is happy that he has a BA in psychiatry because "it would be good to have one in the family". Bwahahaha.

Jillian's granny thinks that Jason is "beautiful, he's a gorgeous guy". Then she places a pair of Canadian boxers on his head. Umm...ok...

Jillian tells us she is falling in love with him. Jason tells us that she is unreal and that he can't imagine why he would want to let someone like her go.

Next up is Molly who picks him up in a golf cart. She looks adorable and they hug. He spins her around and they kiss. They golf and she is certain that he is nervous because he is around her and when you like someone you get nervous.

Again, we hear about how she doesn't bring guys home because she can't be with someone her family doesn't love.

Molly's mom is beyond excited to see her. Cute. This home visit is much quieter until Molly's mom brings out some hats. Everyone dons hates and waits for the rest of the family to put on some hats. Her mom wants to see if he can roll with the family. Even with the hats the family is quiet. Her mom takes her down to this awesome craft room and asks Jason to draw a picture of Molly. She also wants to see if Molly can identify what that special moment he draws is. Jason draws her face as he sees her at the rose ceremony. Molly's dad tells her that if she doesn't make it to the end, she doesn't cry "just smile".

Molly's mom says she doesn't want to give the impression that they are always crazy like this...bwahahah. I love it. She thinks she is funny.

Jason tells us he can't get enough of Molly. He hated saying good-bye to her.

Naomi, is concerned about Jason thinking she is not ready for a family. She wants to make sure she shows him how ready she is. Jason thinks she is fun and gorgeous. He checks her out repeatedly.

Naomi brings up the conversation they had last week. She wants him to know that she is 100% here for him and Ty. She can totally picture her life with him "her potential, future husband".

He is still concerned because she may believe it, but is she really?

Naomi tells us how crazy her family is and she is worried that he may be freaked out. Mom comes out with hula hoops for the whole family and they have a contest. She tells him to "be one with the hula hoop". Poor Jason couldn't keep the hula hoop up, I personally hope this is the only problem he has keeping things up.

Then mom tells us about how she killed this beautiful dove on her windshield. The kids tells us that the dove is in the fridge. Mom wants Jason to have the honors of burying the dead dove and saying the eulogy. Jason tells us that the symbol of peace if being buried today. Poor Jason, seriously...what a good sport.

Naomi's mom wants to thank "Rosie" for giving herself and tells her that if she wants to come back, she could come back as a cat. I can't wait to hear what Beyond Reality says about this one.

While Jason is finally having a religious conversation with Hector, Naomi's dad, Naomi's mom walks in and grabs him away.

The tells him that he is "indigo". She tells him that he wants to right things and that they are of the same soul family. She tells him that she knows him from another life. She also believes that he had at least one lifetime as a mom because of his maternal side.

How odd is this couple. Hector is extremely religious and Naomi's mom is a spiritual being! Umm..my nice way of saying, looney.

Jason thinks her family is fun and "out there in some ways". He loved seeing Naomi with the kids because hello...that is a big part of his life. Dude, if I were with a guy with a kid, trying to catch his eye, I would totally be playing with the kids.

Naomi slapped him on his ass when he was walking away. Cute!

Jason and Melissa run to each other and he twirls her around after telling us how much he can't wait to see her to "twirl her around and give her a big kiss."

I really want her to stop using that pink lipstick. It makes me crazy.

Melissa makes Ty a gift; a little tooth fairy box. Cute.

She tells him that her family will not be meeting him today because her parents are not comfortable with the publicness of the whole thing. She is embarrassed and worried that he won't be able to propose to someone if he can't meet her family.

Jason tells us that it is disappointing to not meet the family because he wants to see how he would get along with them. Family is a big part of a relationship. He gets to hang out with her best friends and some kids. So cute. The girls hang all over Jason and Melissa and everyone looks very happy. Jason tells us how much the girls are drawn to Melissa and why wouldn't they be.

Melissa's friends are the sweetest. They really love and support her. Even without her family there she has a wonderful support system. Jason talks to her friends and hears about how Melissa doesn't really know how beautiful she is. Her girlfriends tell him that they have only met her parents one time. I don't get it, her best friends don't know her parents?

Jason definitely has different chemistry with Melissa. He is much more touchy with her. She never has to make a move. They head back to Melissa's suite and discuss her parents. She doesn't bad mouth her parents but tells him that they have never been to her games or met her friends. She says she doesn't take it personally but they are very private people.

I think Jason really wants to take care of Melissa. I don't see it being anyone else. He is more tender and comfortable with her.

Jason addresses each girl at the start of the rose ceremony. Classy dude.

The first rose goes to, Molly, followed by Jillian, then Melissa. Which means Naomi is going home.

Ahhh...poor little sweetie. Crazy family = no rose.

Jason tells her that she is wonderful and that he loved her family. He thinks they just aren't in the same place. He thinks she is incredible. He thinks she is gorgeous, loving but it just wasn't the right time.

Stephanie Hogan talks to Reality TV World

Interview: Stephanie Hogan talks about her time on 'The Bachelor'

By John Bracchitta, 02/05/2009

Stephanie Hogan easily had the most heart-wrenching story of all the bachelorettes competing to win Jason Mesnick's heart on The Bachelor.

Reality TV World: How did it feel when Jason made a point to speak so highly of you in front of everyone after the elimination? Did you appreciate the gesture?

Stephanie: You know what, what really overwhelmed me. I was just very thankful, I guess I was surprised and I think I could... You know that feeling where you feel your heart beating outta your chest? It was like "Wow, I certainly didn't know that he felt that way. I thought the girls liked me, I had a good feeling about that, but I didn't [know] that they would be so emotional.

And from my understanding... I've not been one who's watched The Bachelor or The Bachelorette a whole lot. I mean I didn't even know what a two-on-one date was! They told me I was going to have to go one and I was like "Really? What's that" and they were like "Somebody goes home," and I was like "Oh, ouch..."

But I just was overwhelmed at that last thing because from my understanding no one's ever left the show like that, as far as saying something in front of [everyone].

Reality TV World: Was there any point when you felt that you may be the one being eliminated [during] the course of that week?

Stephanie: Yeah, I had my reservations just because I felt Jason and I connected on emotional levels and mentally and with our children, but as far as passion of like (pauses) when you walk in the room and he just absolutely overwhelms [you], do I think I did that for him? No.

You have to have that! You just gotta say "Oh my God I just want to be with you forever." We were just more [like] friends.

Reality TV World: I know the show has covered it pretty extensively, but could you talk about your one-on-one date with Jason when you celebrated Sophia's birthday?

Stephanie: Oh, can I talk about the date?

Reality TV World: Yeah.

Stephanie: Yeah. Oh my goodness. First of all, it was just breathtaking. I was just so overwhelmed that he would have brought my daughter there on her birthday because I had thought [about her] all day, [and] while I was in the limousine and they were taking me and I had no idea where I was going. The date card had said "Will you come play with me?" and I thought "Okay, lets see. What can we be doing today?" I had no idea it would be like bringing Sophia there.

I tried to call Sophia and she wasn't at home, and nobody answered. One thing about me is I try to be optimistic, and so I thought "Oh, well I'll probably get to talk with her later."

But when she just came running down that beach I [just] about fainted. My knees buckled and she came at me with all her force and just ran over me. I remember having sand from head-to-toe and they were like "Do you need to change? You're soaking wet." I was like "No, I don't need to change, I'm used to being dirty."

We just went all day and had a relaxing, fun, fun time. I think he got to see a side of me that... You know I've grown up as a ballet dancer so I can have an appearance, I think, of looking like I'm... I don't know, just being held up straight. You know how a dancer's stance is? I feel like [Sophia and I] got to show him a side of us that was really [relaxed].

At one point we had a picnic and I stuffed, like, 20 grapes in my mouth, and Sophia starts stuffing them in her mouth [too]. They didn't show that.

But it was just fun. Sophia, her eyes just... there were moments when I was on the rides with her and I just held her and she was just wet in her swimsuit and I just held her on my lap and just loved on her. I couldn't ask for anything more. If this is all I get from this, if I walk home without love, that was a positive and magnificent experience for the both of us.

Reality TV World: You had said many times that you envisioned starting a family with Jason, how would you have dealt with that if it had become a reality, with having to move Sophia to Seattle?

Stephanie: Well I just think you would have to adjust, and I am used to the south, but I appreciate all parts of the country. I have traveled a lot and, of course, been up north and I can appreciate people in the north and so I would just move my family there. It's not where you are, it's how you live with your family.

Reality TV World: You were definitely one of the more mature contestants on the show, and at one point you said that you thought that [Naomi, a 24-year-old flight attendant from Carlsbad, CA] might not be on "the same maturity level" as some of the other [girls]. Could you tell about why you thought that?

Stephanie: Um. I guess it's... (Pauses) I'm just trying to think of the best way to put it... I just seemed to think at that point that, and it's not a bad thing on Naomi, I thought she was really a cute girl. I was just thinking of Jason as far as having a child and what stage he was in. (Pauses) I saw her maturity level as not as mature as some of the other girls. I can't really get into anything else.

Reality TV World: You had said after your elimination that you hoped your story would reach people and inspire them. Since your elimination have you talked to people whom you have affected by your story?

Stephanie: Yeah. I actually have. As a matter of fact I talked to a guy -- he did not even know that I was on the show -- but you wonder why you're put in situations, and when I was on the way back from Seattle I sat next to a guy who was just distraught. I mean, he had such a difficult time, and we got to talking and I told him that I had lost my husband. And he said -- and I could tell he was at the point of tears -- then he did start crying and he said "Well, I'm going through a divorce and I have three children. I just spent Halloween up here with my three children in Seattle and I have to go to Atlanta and be without them for several months."

And he said "How am I gonna get through this?" and I fell like right then I was in a moment to just build him up and kinda give him some advice and just tell him to look for positive things and take each day, and you'll be a little bit stronger. [I told him to] surround yourself with people who won't tear you down, but can bring you up and make you not see the negative stuff.

I mean, that is what I will continue to do, but I've seen several people [while I'm out at a store] and they'll just come up to me and give me a big hug and say "You know, I lost my husband, and I'm just so proud of you for going out and doing something like this." And they'll say "I' m happily remarried and I have another two children from the man I just married, and you'll have that again." That's a big encouragement to me too! I mean I so want that, and here I sit with three dogs and hold my little doggies and say this is the closest thing to a baby I can do right now.

Reality TV World: Can you talk about what you thought when you found out you'd be going on that two-on-one date with [Nikki, a 29-year-old administrative assistant from Blue Island, IL]? She clearly had a strong reaction to it so I wanted to know what you were thinking when you heard about it?

Stephanie: Well, I mean I thought "Whoa, somebody goes home!?" And then I thought, "Well that could be me or you, so I guess we better get prepared." It almost hurt my feelings because I thought [Nikki] was upset because that I'd been picked to go on the date with her. I'm one who likes for people to like me, and that kinda hurt my feelings. I thought "If anything I'm one of the least catty people [who could] go on the two-on-one with you."

I was excited to go on it because it [involved] dancing. I'm a dance major, [so] that was right down my alley and I was thrilled. My husband used to take me and we would waltz, we waltzed our wedding night [for] the entire night. I love dancing with a man, I was so excited.

And the place we went, incredible. I would say it's hands down the most beautiful place I've ever been. I've been to a lot of pretty places. [It was called] The Inn of the Seventh Ray, and it was just gorgeous.

Reality TV World: Why did you decide to apply for The Bachelor?

Stephanie: Actually what happened is my sister and her friends watched The Bachelorette and they saw that Jason seemed that he was a lot like my ex-husband, thought that he would be a match for me. So I wrote a detailed letter and I got his information.

And actually, I thought it may be a little stalker-ish to send it to him, so I sent the information to his father, and I sent him a really pretty gold four-leaf-clover-paperweight [for] the best of luck. I thought [that] he was a businessman, he works, [so] I wanted to send him something classy that he would remember, and write him a letter telling him I was looking for love and I had been hurt and I understood his pain too, because pain is pain no matter if it's death or divorce or rejection or whatever.

So I just talked to his dad for like 30 minutes on the phone and I said [I was going to send the information to him] and if you feel like it, because you know best [and] if you feel like we would be a match for each other, just [to] Fed-Ex it to him.

So next thing I knew I was sitting in registration for pre-school with my little girl and my phone rang and it was [the show's producers] wanting em to come and audition for the show. That's the way it all came down.

Also in the call, Stephanie talked about why she hopes to stay in touch with Jason, under what circumstances she would want to become the next The Bachelorette star, and what she would have done with Jason if she had survived another week and taken him on a hometown date.

Do you think you'll stay in touch with Jason?

Stephanie: I think we will, no doubt. I mean, because I had such a bond with Jason and I just think that he's an incredible man and even though we didn't have that physical chemistry I still think out friendship will remain strong. Who knows, there's many avenues that we could possible connect on, especially with us both being single parents and having children the same age.

Would you want to be The Bachelorette if they asked you?

Stephanie: I think a this point in my life, well, first of all I think it would probably be a few months before they would ask me, and nobody said anything about that. But I would probably evaluate that and see where I am in my life. I would hope that I'll have maybe some good fellas come outta this, I could be dating somebody at that time and if there's something to it than I'd wanna honor his wishes and remain with him and not do it.

But if I was single than I'd probably say yeah, I'd do it. I'd give it a shot.

Who are you rooting for?

Stephanie: Um,(Pauses). You know, I think I'm gonna have to just watch, honestly, for the hometown dates and see how he connects with the families. Because I did say one thing to Jason, and that is "You do marry the family [too]." He asked for one piece of advice, which was off-camera, [just as he was putting me in the limousine] and we were saying "Bye" and he said "What is one piece of advice you could give me? I mean, I trust you and I value your opinion."

I said "Just remember when you make those hometown dates that [you should] really evaluate that, and you do marry into the family. Just be where you fit in," and all of that. "[Try and see] if a family is too demanding of you or if they're gonna be overbearing, or if they seem to mesh perfectly with you. Look at all those things."

What would you have done for your hometown date?

Stephanie: Oh, I think we would've just probably hung out around my home. I think we would have maybe barbequed out back, I have a pool out back and a hot tub. We probably just would've cranked the music up and had some margaritas and let the kids run around and just show him what I do like to do and what I am like at home.

How did you deal with connecting with younger women who seemed to be at a different stage of life?

Stephanie: I can honestly say that I did connect with the other girls very well. I think it's because I allowed them to be themselves and took them for what they were, whether they were 24-years-old or... I mean I know how I was at 24 and I'm sure there were some things where I was like "Whoa! Why did I say that?" So I could appreciate that.

But, like [Molly,a 24-year-old department store buyer from Grand Rapids, MI]. She's 24 and we worked out a lot and I was like "You do not act [like you're] 24." I mean, I woulda thought her maturity level was much like a 34-year-old.

There were some girls in the house who were probably a little bit more mature, but because that was their age bracket, or maybe hadn't been through quite as many experiences. It's all about what you experience in life that kinda puts you there and makes you react to things differently. I said it the other night, it was like, Okay, walking down the aisle with my 10-week old after just sealing the casket, that to me was something to hit the panic button about and be distraught and completely broken-hearted over. This was not something like that, because I look at the opportunity and I say "Wow, I can get a wonderful man out of this."

Did you ever feel like you were ever in it, like you would ever be the one that Jason chose? Did you get the feeling early on that it wasn't going to end up like that?

Stephanie: As far as the physical connection, I felt like, and I think it's because of me being in acting and different things, I kinda looked for signals from him like that eye connection and that direct [contact] for him to touch my hand. I didn't necessarily see that.

I initially thought "Well, maybe he's just not that way." I remember the man I was married to and he would touch me on the face and my hands and run his fingers through my hair and Jason wasn't doing that. I had my reservations.

Do you think, knowing Jason, that he would be better off with a single mom or can he make it work with someone without kids?

Stephanie: I think he can make it work. I think as long as the love and the passion is there. Ty has a mommy, and if they're there in Seattle, then all that they've gotta do is make sure that the girl is willing [to split time with him with Ty] and that she is willing to be adaptable and needs to support his needs too and little Ty's needs as well. We all know that children, they get sick and we can't go to the party, or we can't go to the dinner we're supposed to.

Did you have any feeling that -- and no offense to you -- he may have kept you around longer because of a bond between him and Sophia?

Stephanie: I don't think so. I think that he saw the way I mothered Sophia and he was attracted to that. I really do, because [with] a child you can tell if they're extroverted, or you can tell if they're timid and they're scared. You can tell about their manners, you can tell if they're appreciative and tell if they're kinda bratty.

You can really tell, I think, how [hands on] a mother or father is with their children that they take time to teach them how to treat people.

Do you believe someone can find true love on The Bachelor?

Stephanie: Yes. I do. Call me a hopeless romantic but I do think you can if you go into it with the right intentions.

Do you believe the experience has opened you up to find love in the future?

Stephanie: I do. I think it put my story out there more than I ever could have imagined just living my day-to-day life. So I think it did give me a chance and I hope it will be maybe through a sister or a cousin or somebody like a girl watching TV who goes "Oh my gosh, my cousin would love to go out with her!" and just kinda play matchmaker. That is my hope for it.

When will you be ready to date again?

Stephanie: Um, tomorrow? Today? Yesterday? (Laughs)

The Bachelor - Season 13 - #5 Recap

So, we are only on episode 5 and already down to 5 girls.

Melissa gets the first one on one date in Jason's home town but waits over an hour for him. He finally touches base and she heads out to meet him and Ty who refused to let Jason leave him.

The other girls stew as they contemplate how Melissa is getting to "chill" with Jason and the most important person in his life.

Melissa walks in while Jason is putting Ty to bed. She does the "girlfriend" thing and tidies up while she waits.

Jason reads to Ty and he tells us that this will help Melissa see what the real world with him would be like.

She pours herself what looks to be her second glass of wine as she waits. Jason walks out and they hug. Melissa changes into her stretchy pants and they walk in to peak at Ty. Jason is not ready for anyone to meet Ty yet but they hug in the doorway and Melissa tells us how exciting it was for her thinking how this could be their life.

The girls are extremely jealous and discuss how they really want to be on the date Melissa is on.

Melissa and Jason talk about what a trip to Dallas would be like. They kiss and he has her hands all over her. She is hot and he is very attracted to her. He tells her he notices that she appreciates the "little things."

Stephanie, Jillian and Molly will be getting the next group date which means Naomi gets the one on one.

The girls meet Jason on a boat where they enjoy a cruise around Seattle. We get to see the Sleepless in Seattle boat house as they pass by.

Jason takes Steph aside to talk alone. Stephanie takes the wheel and they laugh while steering the boat. Jason asks her about missing Sophia. Jason tells her that their date with Sophia is one of his favorite memories of the show. He tells her how great her daughter is. Stephanie sees them together.

Jillian and Molly talk about their serious feeling and their jealousy over the girls. Jillian sees herself with Jason above everyone else.

Jason and the girls head over to a radio station where Jason is hoping to learn more about the girls.

Stephanie loves watching him talk and his confidence "he is one good looking man."

Jason tells the radio station that the most amazing date has been with Stephanie so far. Melissa and Naomi get to listen and look crushed.

Jason tells the radio hosts that Molly is the best kisser.

The host blind folds Jason while the girls kiss him. He is going to try to figure out who is who.

Jillian is first, followed by Stephanie and then Molly. He gets it right!

Stephanie loves his eyes, Jillian feels the same. Molly loves his smile. They all feel that when Jason talks to you he makes you feel like you are the only person in the room.

The girls are asked about their sex lives. Stephanie wants to make sure that the man she is with is taken care of and if that means kissing every inch of his body...

Jason takes the girls to a beautiful restaurant, during dessert he whisks Jillian away to talk. He asks her what is bothering her. She truly expected him to be super nice but spending time with him she also realizes that all the girls are great. He asks her if her expectations are too high. She says they might be. She says she is looking for that special feeling of someone she can spend her life with. They kiss but honestly, I am not sure what she was talking about. They discuss what her home date would be like.

Back at the room, Naomi gets her date card and is excited to be the last date before the rose ceremony.

Stephanie asks Jason how he knew who he was kissing today. He says, "different lips, different styles."

He takes Molly away to talk. They hold hands and walk around. Molly tells him how close she is to her family and that she would never get in a relationship that her family doesn't approve of. He kisses Molly differently. He holds and strokes her face which I haven't seen him do before.

Jason runs up to meet Naomi for their one on one date. They take a seaplane and tour Seattle. This is their second plane ride together. They cuddle on the plane and kiss.

Jason takes Naomi rock wall climbing and she is loving it. The talk on the wall after climbing and she asks him what he is looking for. He tells her that he is looking for someone who understands where his life is.

Naomi and Jason talk about relationships. She tells him that she wants to be with someone who she has a lot in common with.

For some reason Melissa and Jillian are taking a bubble bath together while Molly and Stephanie sit on the outside. They discuss Jason and Naomi's relationship. Noami tells Jason this is the best date she has ever had in her entire life.

Jason shows up at the girls room and asks Jillian to walk with him. He says Jillian could be the one to break his heart.

He asks her how she is doing and she opens up about how things have to be on her own terms. He tells her that he has strong feelings developing and wants to know that she is on board. She tells her that he wants her to take care of herself. He wants her to open up more and put herself first. I am annoyed that she keep finishing his sentences. I know she is trying to show him that she gets him but hello....

She feels that his questions are valid and she hopes she gave him the right answers.

Chris and Jason talk about the 5 girls and the home dates. Jason says with Melissa he is waiting for something. Can someone be so perfect?

As for Stephanie he thinks she is incredible and that he would be a lucky guy to end up with her.

Jason says that he is very attracted to Molly and that her family would be fun.

As for Jillian feels she is here for an adventure and he is worried about ending up broken hearted.

He says his date with Naomi was incredible. Chris asks about chemistry and Jason says the chemistry is slow and that is ok.

Before the rose ceremony Jason tells the girls he has to talk to one of them first. He takes Naomi aside and asks her if she is ready for his life and if this is what she wants. She says yes and that she is over the single life.

Jillian gets the first rose followed by Melissa, Molly, and Naomi. Which leaves Stephanie. Naomi goes up to get her rose and hugs him but Jason is only looking at Stephanie. He tells her "I want to say this in front of everybody. You are the most amazing person I have ever met. You are a beautiful person outside and in and I am so glad to have met you." She tells him that she "is so glad to be a part of this. You are an incredible man."

Jason waits for Stephanie to say her goodbyes. She says, "one of you girls make this man very happy."

He sits with her and tells her that he wishes there was something there. She says, she figured there was something missing. He tells her that she deserves that aching feeling more than anyone and he wants her to have it. Stephanie takes her gracious self and leaves him standing at the curb. He will always wonder about her.

Jason tells the girls that this was one of the most hardest days he could ever imagine.

They all cheer and we get to see a glimpse of the home dates.

The Bachelor #4 Recap - New Season 13

Wow....I am so excited about tonight show. Jason and the girls will be heading to the set of General Hospital a show I have watched for over 30 years.

Chris starts the show by telling the girls have to earn this weeks one on one date by writing and performing a song for Jason. They have 30 minutes to write and Molly is sure she will sound like a professional song you would hear on the radio. Nikki is emotional because this is way outside her box. Shannon will rap like Jason did when he was on the show.

Nikki talks about being a control freak like it is a bad thing. She is crying that she just can't do this.

Molly goes first and sings about "nuggets and french fries".

Shannon raps about how "hot" Jason is.

Jillian was looking for "adventure".

Lauren sang a full song about a "leap of faith that everyone should take".

Nikki sits there fanning herself and gets up sings a song she "would want to sing to her baby one day".

Jason chooses Molly who incorporated him in the song when she asked him to sing with her.

Shannon brings in Molly's note from Jason which says "let's stay home tonight at my place".

Jason and Molly have a picnic with fries, burgers. Not sure if it's hot in there but Molly is a bit sweaty.

The girls get the group date box which include Jillian, Lauren, Shannon, Megan, Melissa, and Naomi. Which means that Nikki and Stephanie are on the two-on-one date.

Nikki cries about going up against Stephanie.

Meanwhile back at Jason's, they are making s'mores by a campfire. She tells him that she is having the time of her life and she sees herself with someone exactly like him. He has all the qualities of someone she wants to be with. She is looking through a crystal ball and can see what kind of husband he would be and what kind of father he would be.

Jason gives Molly a rose and tells her the more he gets to know her the more he likes her.

Molly has butterflies and says that you can tell a lot from kissing someone. He asks her to camp out with him so the night doesn't end. They enter the tent and you can hear kissing and moaning.

Back at the house Shannon waits up for Molly's return. She will be waiting a long time because Molly doesn't return until morning. He walks her back to the house where they kiss. Molly tells us that she has no regrets and that she is the first girl in bachelor history to have to do the walk of shame. She also tells them that she didn't get much sleep.

Melissa doesn't like that she smells like Jason and that she is wearing his pants.

Jason walks in and heads out with the group date girls. They arrive on the set of General Hospital. They walk in and flip out over the set. I would totally flip out too.

Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Maxie (Kristen Storms) are doing a scene. They end the scene and send the girls to hair and make-up.

Jason is ready to play doctor and walks around with a stethoscope checking everyone's heart. Kristen talks to the girls about the kissing scene. Shannon volunteers to kiss Jason to show everyone how is should be done.

So fun to see them on the set of GH. Jason plays a doctor who is having an affair with his maid Naomi. They kiss and Lauren walks in. The director says all wrong and makes them kiss again. Melissa can't take all the kissing. She is freaking out. The girls are getting pissed because Lauren keeps messing up the scene which makes them have to kiss again and again.

Next, Jason and Jillian are sitting on the Q's couch and Jason's character has to propose to her and tell her that he loves her.

Melissa is having a very hard time watching all the make out scenes.

Nikki and Stephanie discuss their upcoming date with Jason. Nikki wants to tuck Ty in and be in love again.

Megan loves her character's outfit. She gets to seduce Jason in "Jason's" apartment. He tells her character he loves her and they make out while the rest of the girls yell cut.

Poor Jason is fanning himself trying to calm down from all his kissing scenes.

Jason and the girls heard out to a wrap party. The girls are very stressed and emotions are very high. The girls are not enjoying themselves, everyone is jealous over his time with everyone else.

Naomi sits alone, Jason walks over and they talk. He tells her there is a connection and she tells him that she is so scared. She cries and he tells her that she is one person that he would always want the best for. He says that they will be in each other's life for a long time.

Melissa talks to Megan about how much it hurt her to see Jason kissing the other girls. Shannon tells Jillian that this is very hard for her.

Megan tells the girls that the process is hard but to enjoy themselves.

Megan takes Jason aside and him that all the girls are saying "this is so hard" but she says everything is perfect. Jason hugs Megan and she wants him to kiss her, he doesn't.

Shannon says for her it was love at first sight and she really wants to talk to him. She is "hanging on by a string."

Lauren feels confident and asks Jason why he kept Megan. She tells him that he needs to give her a rose tonight. Wow, I am shocked that she asked. What business is it of hers. Jason looks pissed and I think she just signed her goodbye ticket.

Jason takes Melissa aside to talk to her. They hug and she cries. He sits her down and she tries to compose herself and he hugs her. She tells him that today proved to her that she really does care about him. She tells him "Apparently I have fallen for you." He says, I like that and they kiss. Shannon busts in on their time together.

Shannon takes Jason aside and tells him that this has been so difficult for her. She feels that she has frozen up and that she put a wall up. She tells him "you can't let me go. I have so much to offer you. I am not letting you let me go. You have to believe in me right now. I am looking for my best friend. I want to be a mother. I want to meet Ty. I want you to come home with me."

Jason says he is sad when Shannon says this to him because he doesn't have the deep feelings that she is developing.

Shannon leans in to kiss him and she feels that he cut it short. He did!! She feels like it was a rejection because he kept telling her that she had napkin on her face.

She was snotting all over herself can she blame him? Who wants to kiss that!?

Jason gives the rose to Naomi and tells her "thanks for being you."

Lauren feels like an idiot. She should!

Jason appreciates that the girls all opened up to him, and they all toast.

Nikki and Stephanie get ready for their date. The doorbell rings and the girls head downstairs to see two stunning ball gowns.

Stephanie looks stunning in her gown. The girls are glowing. Jason knows this will be a tough night. He likes both of these girls and feels that one of these two could be his wife. He believes this could be one of the hardest things he will have to do.

Jason, Stephanie, Nikki head out. Nikki got the first impression rose and he liked her right off the bat but feels she just stays in the box. He feels that Stephanie is a wonderful women, great mom, great person but wants to make sure that there is a romantic connection.

There is a dancing lesson and everyone is nervous. Nikki and Jason look awkward. I love that she is giggling because you don't usually see her like that. Stephanie can dance and has taught ballet. She has confidence and wishes Nikki was out of the picture. They dance well together and she feels there is a connection. Nikki feels they look like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. She feels like a third wheel. She steps outside her box and steal Jason back for a dance. Stephanie cuts in and takes her moment. She wants to kiss him. Nikki wants the last dance and steps in again.

Jason believes both girls have amazing qualities. Jason asks both women about leaving their hometown to be with him. Nikki says she could leave because she has no one to answer to it's just her. Stephanie says that she will be wherever the one she loves is. Nikki tells Jason about her 11 year relationship. He pulls her aside to hear more of it. She is much more open and happy on this date. She is definitely trying to get that rose and it is working for her. She is shining, comfortable and happy.

He takes Stephanie aside and she tells him how happy she is to get this opportunity. She is happy to be able to open her heart. She tells him she is attracted to him and is dying to kiss him. She is too much of a lady to make the first move.

Jason knows he has to send one of them home. He says this is very hard and that he sees them both as two of the most amazing people in the house. He tells Stephanie she has a heart of gold and tells Nikki that she is as sweet as can be. He give the rose to Stephanie. She feels terrible for Nikki and doesn't take any time to be thankful for the moment. He walks Nikki out and tells her how great she is. He says this was the hardest decision he has ever had to make.

Nikki tells us that she never saw this coming. She says she is in shock and doesn't know how to react. She doesn't know how much smarter or prettier she can get. She knows she could have been very good for him and that she is disappointed.

Jason walks back to Stephanie who tells him she knows that was hard to do. They hug and dance some more.

Jason finally kisses Stephanie and it seems a bit forced but I like that he went in for it.

The girls discuss how hard it is getting. Jason walks in and everyone stands up.

Jillian and Jason head outside to talk. He tells her that he likes that she can separate it all. She tells him she loves their talks and she is grateful.

Melissa and Jason talk about the last time the spoke. She apologizes and he says he knows what it feels like for her. She tells him she notices the little things and points them out to him. She tells him she knows how she feels about him. He kisses her.

Megan is not feeling confident because they haven't had a lot of one on one time. He takes her outside. She feels she is the best for him out of everyone in the house. She tells him she isn't feeling confident and he tells her to be confident in herself. He asks her to waltz. They dance and hug.

Jason walks in and Shannon and Lauren are talking. Shannon asks if he had fun last night. Lauren tells him that she is going to give Jason a slap. She tells him that she is mad that he didn't give her a rose. She is smiling and hopefully he knows she is joking.

She tells him he wants to kiss her. He leans in to kiss her and she goes for it. She feels confident and that she has the strongest connection with him "the other girls need to go home."

The first rose goes to Melissa, then Jillian. He picks up the last rose and says, "I'm sorry. I can't do this. I can't give out this final rose. Megan you are amazing. Lauren you are honest, real. Shannon you are a beautiful person but I can't lead anybody on. I don't see forever and I don't want to lead anybody on.

Megan, Shannon and Lauren will be leaving tonight. Lauren tells him that she respects him but she tells us that she doesn't think its fair that he changed the rules by not giving out the last rose.

Shannon feels Jason is the perfect man. She says she wants a connection and when she gets home will use her electric toothbrush and make out with her puppy.

Megan is shocked and is hurt and confused. She says it is pathetic how much she doesn't want to go home right now.

Stephanie, Jillian, Melissa, Naomi, and Molly are left and Jason says "one of you, I will definitely spend the rest of my life with."

The Bachelor - #3

Chris gives the girls their date card...

The date card is for Stephanie. From the limo Stephanie calls her daughter to wish her a happy birthday.

The limo takes Stephanie to meet Jason who is waiting for her. She throws her arms around him and the hold hands as they walk to the beach.

Stephanie does her "standard" cartwheel. Jason tells her he knows she gave up a lot and asks if she got to speak to her daughter today. He makes her turn around and Stephanie's daughter comes running down the beach into her arms. They collide and she cries as well as Jason. She tells her daughter she loves her and they frolick in the surf. Stephanie is overwhelmed and tells Jason so. She thanks him.

Jason says it was magical to see them together. He says that Stephanie deserves the world after what she has been through.

Jason, Stephanie and Sofia enjoy her birthday at an amusement park. It is too cute to see them running through the park with a little dressed up baby girl. Sofia looks like a little flower girl in her white dress. They have her dressed for their wedding already.

Jason has white picket fences in his eyes as they run and play with Sofia. Stephanie feels a connection to Jason because he reminds her of her husband.

Stephanie tells Jason that she is ready to meet Ty and that she understands what her place would be. That Ty's mom is his mom and she would be there to be a positive role model. She wants to find a man she can take care of.

Back at the house, another date card shows up and Kari, Shannon, Melissa, Noemi, Jillian, Nikki, Erica and Meghen will be one the group date.

Jason walks over to get the rose that we all knew he would be giving her. He says he had one of the most amazing days and would she accept. She says yes of course.

Jason feels it would be amazing to be with someone like Stephanie for the rest of his life.

Side Note: Could Sofia have the cutest clothes ever.

After playing Daddy, Jason is ready to party with all the other women.

The girls get out of the limo and see a showroom of busts. They will be working with an organization called Keep A Breast. They will be making sculptures of their busts, paint them and then auction them off for breast cancer awareness.

Erica and Melissa help Jason oil his body. When he asked for help they were the only two to volunteer.

Jason came around to help the girls put the casts on. Shannon asked Jason to put the gauze on because she was dying for him to touch her. She is such a loon.

Kari is excited that Jason is involved in charity because not many guys would do this.

BTW..how funny that Jason just hung around with no shirt on while the girls painted their busts.

Melissa must have been feeling strange or something because all of a sudden she tells Jason that she had a breast reduction.

Shannon is really a bizarre chick. She is excited that he felt her up a little bit.

Meghan tells him that everyone was excited and that doing those busts were really cool. She says she lives her life to serve people and that it has been hard to not have anyone appreciate her. She hasn't helped anyone in 10 days and she was glad to be able to give back.

Erica, thinks so is a better fit than Jason than some like Meghan.

Nikki, is upset that she has to compete with other girls because she is not use to it.

While talking Nikki and Jason ran out of things to say to each other.

Stephanie comes in with the next date card which turns out to be for Natalie.

Melissa and Shannon sit in a chair and talk quietly.

Jillian and Jason jump on a bed. She is trying too hard for me. She wants to stand out and wants to show him she is fun. She tells him that she isn't looking for marriage she is looking for someone she can't live without that she would want to marry.

Poor Shannon..what a freak. She doesn't know what to say to him so she says, "hi" and then throws her arms around him for a hug.

Jason goes to get the rose and tells the girls this was one of the coolest dates he has been on. He gives the rose to Jillian.

Nikki is sure that she is going home and she doesn't want to. She wants to fall in love.

Jason says he is extremely attracted to Natalie and wants to spend more time with her. He goes to pick up Natalie who is still getting dressed for her date. Jason takes a seat with the girls who hopefully were taking this time to spend time with him before his date with Nat.

Jason presents Natalie with a million dollars with of jewels. She is extremely materialistic and is getting the princess date she wanted. She feels like a million bucks and Jason feels she is rocking it.

The girls are very quiet as they head out onto their date wondering how the date will go since it started out like this.

God, I can't stand this chick!

Jason brings her to a private jet and if he was looking to get lucky he basically nailed it.

Stephanie the voice of reason tells the girls that Jason may fall for Natalie as they discuss what kind of girl Natalie is. They think that if Jason falls for her type that they don't see a way to get close to him.

Jason finds Natalie beautiful and feels as if they are a real couple "a celebrity couple."

Natalie sees a wedding chapel and wants to elope.

Jason says he really wants to get to know her better and he wants to give her a rose. He wishes that their conversation was better. He also says, he isn't sure if she is ready to give up party to be a mom. Although she says she is.

They dance. He says he wants to feel something for her. He wants his intuition to set in so that he can say she is the one for him. He knows that she wants him to kiss her but he doesn't want to. He wishes he felt more for her but he just doesn't.

He holds up the rose and tells her that he had a terrific date and that he can't give her the rose. He "really wanted there to be something and there isn't enough commonalities."

He feels that she is still exploring herself and she wants him to know that she is ready.

She is angry and bitter and tells him that their are people in the house that he is keeping. She shows her true colors and made it quite easy for him to realize he made the right decision. He won't ever be second guessing this decision.

Natalie knows she will be an awesome mom and that can happen tomorrow. She thinks he is intimidated by her. She says she has a lot going on. OK...

Jason heads into the party with the girls and is ready to find out who is causing fights in the house.

I am glad to see Jason decided to shave.

Jason asks the Eva Mendes, Naomi lookalike who is causing drama in the house. She tells him that she wants to talk to him about stuff that doesn't involve the girls. She tells him that he has so many of the qualities she looks for. She also tells him that she is falling for him and that she has only been with one other person in her whole life. Jason kisses her and tells her she is wonderful.

Nikki is concerned that some of the girls have been intimate with him. She is hoping for a kiss. She wants Jason to know that she can be playful.

She is being her bubbly self from the first night. Too funny, she leans in to kiss him and he has to grab her face to guide her to his face for a kiss. It was so weird. Why was she kissing air? That was the most awkward moment ever. We don't get to hear Jason's reaction to their kiss.

Erica, wants to tell Jason she is happy to be here. She feels better when he tells her that he never got a rose on the group date. She asks if he was checking out her boobs. Jason loves that she is fun.

The girls want Keri to bust out of her shell.

Molly tells him that she is getting butterflies whenever he comes around. Jason tells her that he heard from Natalie that there are people in the house that are not for him. He kisses her.

Naomi and Molly tells the girls that Natalie told Jason that there are girl in the house who don't have his best interest at heart.

Shannon feels sick tonight. She is upset because Natalie called out some girls.

Natalie tells Jason that she wants to lie on the couch with him in her Pajamas and say "hey hows your day." She wants to get to know you. She is so bizarre. She is "so ready to be a mother." "Hi I'm Shannon and I'm crying." Yuck!

Jason takes Stephanie and she tells us she wants to connect with him on a romantic level. She is so thankful for her date with her daughter. She wants to take this date to another level. She kisses him on her cheek and thanks him for having her here. She thanks him for the beautiful memory he created with Sofia. She thanks him for the feeling she has that she can love again. She kisses him and they hug. It was sweet and without passion but it was sweet.

Jason takes Lauren outside to ask about people in the house. She tells him that she doesn't see him with the drama queens in the house. She tells him that she is afraid of Megan. She says that it was Erica and Megan who were talking trash in the house.

Lauren tells Megan and the girls what was discussed with Jason. Megan tells her that she is juvenile for tattling and that they all talked about Natalie.

Chris tells the girls to let Jason knows what he needs to know before they head into the rose ceremony.

Nikki says that she feels the girl who they all believe was the drama queen is gone.

Megan feels that she feels targeted. Lauren feels that everyone has an opinion about everyone and that this is weird and awkward.

As Megan and Lauren are talking back and forth Shannon walks out of the room saying she hates it here. Jason walks off to check on her. He knocks on the door and asks if she is ok. She is really sick to her stomach.

Megan is tired of Shannon's self absorption. Jason hugs a puke smelling Shannon and she closes the bathroom door.

Lauren is nervous because she took a risk telling him names of the girls who cause drama.

Lauren comes out and apologizes.

Poor Jason. He thanks them for opening up and tells them that their opening up helped him make his decision.

The first rose goes to Molly, Lauren, Melissa, Naomi, Shannon, Nikki, and Megan.

This leaves Kari, and Erica as the two going home.

Megan is shocked and happy.

Poor Kari never came out of her shell so she never really stood a chance. She was invisible to the rest of the bolder girls.

Erica says personally she is disappointed and she feels that Megan is the reason she was sent home.

The Bachelor - Season 13 - Episode 2

Jason packs his son's suitcase and sends him off to his mom's house for a while.

BTW...Jason should always wear blue.

The girls check out the house they will be living in. They are like a bunch of teenagers running into the house.

Jason shows up while the girls are hanging out at the pool. Jason tells the girls that "one of you guys are going to be my wife" and everyone swoons.

Jason takes Meghan aside and tells her that if she had not been voted off to get that rose he was going to give her one anyway.

Too funny...these chicks were drooling over Jason taking his shirt off.

Jillian and Jason talk about the hot dog theory. He thinks she is hysterical. She feels an instant chemistry,

Shannon is dying for one on one time and offers to give put sun tan lotion on him. She drools over his body. She also tells him that she is ready to be a mom and why. Her friends are all pregnant. He finds her fun because she tells him how much she wants to be there.

The door bell rings and there is a rose and a letter.

Nikki was talking about how she doesn't want to fade away when the girls come over with the rose.

Whomever he gives the rose to will get a romantic dinner with Jason.

The girls decide to get more aggressive to get the rose.

Stephanie is ready for one on one and Nikki tells her how to do it. "take a drink over for the both of you and when they are done go over there." Stephanie walks over with drinks in the middle of Natalie and Jason talking and stands there. She gets uncomfortable and eventually says, "when you are done talking I would really like to talk to you".

Jason walks over to Jillian with the rose. Natalie thinks the rose is going to her.

Natalie runs upstairs and Raquel goes to her. She tells her not to let this affect her and what can happen. Natalie is upset that Jillian got the rose and thinks it should have been her.

Urrr...hello honey...there are 15 girls and everyone wants their chance. So it wasn't you this time, maybe it will be you next time.

OMG....Lauren is thankful that she wasn't chosen because "what would I have done with my hair, I would have to wear it curly. Thank God it wasn't me."

Jason and Jillian dance and cuddle. Jason leans in and kisses her. Jillian's toes are curling. She tells us that this brought their relationship to a new level. Did they in fact HAVE a relationship?????

The girls receive another note. Melissa, will be going out with Jason on a one on one date.

Jillian talks to the girls about her date. The girls ask if they kissed and she says yes. Melissa is concerned about her date, now that she is following up the Jillian date.

Jason meets Melissa at the beach. He feeds her an oyster which she hates but takes it like a lady. She tells him that she wants to teach 1st grade and that in the summer she wants to stay home with her kids. He is all smiles.

The girls get another note, this one is for Natalie, Ericka, Noami, Kerri, Sharon, Nikki are going on the date.

Jason and Melissa, sit on the rocks and check out the blimp. The blimp is like a Magic 8 ball and they talk to the blimp. Melissa and Jason kiss.

Jason and Melissa take a ride in the blimp where there is a rose waiting. Jason tells her that he had a wonderful time and asks her to accept the rose. She does, and they kiss.

Jason and 8 girls o on their group date. He takes them shopping and tells them to pick out an outfit. Natalie says this is like a dream of hers. Uhhhh...high maintenance.

Thankfully none looked too trashy well except for Natalie with her mini and high boots.

BTW..love Jason's clothes, Jeans, t-shirt and vest. Cute!

Erica, can't deal with all the other women.

Jason takes the girls to a pool so he can see all of them in their bathing suits again.

Jason did some white boy break dancing. While Molly, Kari and Shannon did some synchronized swimming.

Molly wanted to show him her secret talent but can't do it in front of the girls because the next moment they are leaving the pool. Her tells him that secret talent is that she is a good kisser. Ummm...it wasn't even a good kiss.

Natalie points out to everyone that they are kissing and Nikki tells her that it is no ones business what they are doing. She doesn't want to hear it.

Nikki lies with Jason and tells him what she feels about the girls in the house. How some are ready and some are not. She wishes that he can see what happens in the house.

Naomi tells Jason that no matter what she would always want to be his friend. She asks "can we french kiss" Jason says, "what" and she asks again. He gives her one but what the hell, is she like 12 years old?

Jason gives the rose to Molly. I am honestly not sure why she did but Naomi was very upset. Seeing her cry over not getting the rose was odd.

Raquel decides to sneak into his limo to get some one on one time with him. She asks if he had enough of her already. It is a little creepy for her to sneak in there and he seemed a little off about it.

She is certain that Jason is the one for her. She wants someone to love her so much that if she were to die, someone would love her so much they would not be able to remarry. Sad!

Jason sits with Erica and asks about her behavior on the way home. He wants to know why she was so quiet on the way home.

He sits with Lauren and she tells him that she wants a two way street. She wants him to initiate things with her. He says that she is someone who needs a lot of reassurance and it may be more than he can give her right now.

Nikki and Melissa discuss the show and how the girls don't realize the show. How they would have to give up their lives and move to Seattle to be an instant mom.

Shannon and Jason get together and he quizzes her on himself. She knows everything he asks. Scary. She tells him "you're so cute" about 10 times. She tells him that if it works out it will be great. She is nutz.

Megan feels that Stephanie and her are great because they are moms.

Megan wants to know about Stephanie and asks about her husband. Stephanie tells them that her husband was a prince of a man. She tells them that her husband was killed and the girls cry as they listen. She tells them that she doesn't want to talk about her husband and how great he is she wants to talk about how great Jason is.

Megan and Jason sit for some one on one time. She talks about her daughter. I don't see much of a connection between them but I want good things for her.

Lisa tells Jason that she is going to leave to be with her family because her grandma is sick and her family needs her.

Shannon & Lauren are sad Lisa is leaving but they feel this is one less girl they have to worry about. Lauren says it's sad but she is not hear for the girls and she doesn't really care.

Megan is pissed that Jillian interrupted their date because she already has a rose. Megan watches them from afar that goes to complain to the girls.

Erica goes and tells Jillian that she has her back because there are some girls who are pissed and were talking about her.

Nikki asks him if he thinks he can find someone in this house. She tells him that there are people here that are not ready for this.

Erica says Megan is a mess. She approaches Megan and tells her that she is very disappointed in her. They go at it and the girls heads turn as if watching a tennis match.

Jason joins the girls who all seem very serious. Chris calls Jason aside to get the rose ceremony underway.

These girls are all about drama and more than 50% are self absorbed.

Chris and Jason talk in private and Chris tells him the girls are getting catty. They discuss Stephanie and how she is missing her daughter's birthday to be here.

They discuss how Lauren doesn't feel comfortable. He tells Chris that Lauren is used to being the center of attention and that she let him know she is uncomforable. He finds Nikki has his best interest at heart. He thinks a lot of the girls look up to Nikki. He talks about how much Shannon knows about him.

Chris asks about Raquel waiting in the limo. Jason says that it surprised him. He knows she wants to be noticed. When Chris brings up Megan, Jason says that his one on one time with Megan was good. He enjoyed that they talked more than just about their kids.

Jason informs Chris that he is falling for more than 1 person. I wonder who!

Watching Chris talk to the girls about the rose ceremony I am thinking he must have a pact with the devil. He looks the same from the beginning. Some of these girls were in middle school when he started hosting this show.

Jason gives the first rose to Megan. Why wouldn't he, she is a stunner.

The second goes to Nikki who is simply beautiful in her print dress.

Lauren gets he third rose. I am shocked because I though she would go home.

Naomi is next. Followed by Stephanie, Kari, Natalie (orange girl), damn I wanted her to leave too.

Shannon is next...damn it...I wanted her to go because she annoys me.

Erica gets the last rose. I am not sure why she didn't pass out. She puts his hand on on breast to feel her heart.

Raquel (limo stow away) and Sharon (who quit her job to be on the show) do not get roses.

The Bachelor and General Hospital

Maxie and Spinelli of General Hospital (Kristen Storms and Bradford Anderson respectively) will be hosting the bachelor this season.

Jason and some of the bachelorettes will be treated to a behind the scenes tour with KS & BA.

Cool, I am so looking forward to this.

If you've never indulged in the guilty pleasure of watching a season of "The Bachelor", perhaps the next season is the perfect place to start. Why now? Because one of the infamous 'group dates' will be to the set of General Hospital! What could be romantic about visiting a soap set? Learning the techniques of screen kissing and acting out a secret fantasy, that's what!

This year's bachelor is Jason Mesnick, 32, a single father from Seattle. He made it to the final rose ceremony last season, only to drop on one knee and learn that he wasn't the chosen one. His luck is bound to change because this time around, he gets to do the chosing and he'll have twenty-five beautiful women to date in the process. In addition to the General Hospital
set visit, group dates will include private concerts from R&B singer Robin Thicke and pop star Kate Voegele, a Goodyear blimp ride over Los Angeles, and a romantic overnight date to New Zealand.

The date for the screen kiss lesson hasn't been released yet, but why not catch the entire season this time around? The premiere is on Monday January 5, 2009 at 8:00 PM (EST). Soaps.com will recap the set visit episode for you in case you miss it!

A Look Back At 13 Seasons of The Bachelor

I love this site.

Check out how it all started.

Meet the past 12 lucky bachelors.

There was Alex Michel, the very first bachelor. I hated this cocky guy.

I have really hated myself for watching this show but I can't help it.

The Bachelor - Season 13 - Episode 1

The beginning of the Bachelor we get to see how Jason become the bachelor and loads of him working out. He looks hot and I hope there are some nice, CLASSY girls on this show because honestly the scenes they keep showing look like there are a bunch of bitches (retracting my claws).

Jason says he has a connection with Meghan. Meg has a 14 month old baby boy.

Jason picked up the rose and walked out the of the room to give it to Nikki. I loved how he walked past Melissa who said, "hi" as he walked past her. I think she thought that rose was coming her way.

His 3 year old Ty will be around for the beginning of this season which I like. Some of my girlfriends have been talking about not watching the show because of this but for me this makes perfect sense. Jason is a dedicated dad looking for a women to JOIN his family. Ty is his family and however comes in might as well know from the beginning that they will always be second to his son. A real women would understand this and respect it.

We shall see.

The next segment shows the women talking about Jason. We get to meet each of them and I love the editing. It does seem like we will see a fist fight this season. There are some hardcore chicks on this seasons Bachelor. I'm scared folks.

There are some single moms on the show this season. I am really excited to see how this dynamic plays out. Girls with kids and girls without really stretches the playing field. I can't believe how kooky some girls are. The dental hygienist freaks me out. Jillian the Interior Decorator has a whole hot dog science. She says she can tell what kind of guy someone is by what they put on their hot dog. Odd! Jason is a mustard guy in case there are any other hot dog crazy chicks out there who can gauge a guy by what he puts on his pork.

Nikki, has a sign on her head that says add water instant mother.

Renee, and her vision boards really freaks me out. A 36 year old who cuts out words from magazines to trace out the path of her life needs to get a life.

Stephanie is a widow with a little girl and she and Jason share a moment outside. He tells her that she is amazing. I wonder if she will get the first impression rose.

Jason finally puts his coat over Lauren the teacher from NJ. He was dying to do this because he must have asked a bunch of girls and everyone said no. Dumb girls.

Jason had a "surprise for her" she thought she was getting the "first impression rose" but it was a cake for her birthday. Bwaahhhh hahahah...poor Lauren.

Since this is the first single dad on the bachelor this season, the powers that be decided to add another first..a girl will be sent packing this evening by ballot. All the girls will vote to send someone home. I hate this idea. The perfect girl for Jason could be sent packing because a bunch of chicks noticed him connecting with someone. Sad!

He gives the first impression rose to Nikki

Jason says he has a connection with Megan but then her name comes up on the ballot box to leave. Chris comes in and tells the girls that Megan is leaving tonight but she is leaving with a rose.

When she gets up to get her rose she calls the girls "bitches". Ahh...exactly what the Powers that Be wanted to happen. Now, the girls have to live with the women they voted out. This is what makes interesting TV, people.

Stacie, Renee (vision board chick), Jackie ("she thought she found the man of her dreams" didn't she just meet him?) don't get roses.

Ahhhhh we get to see clips of the upcoming episodes. What the hell??? DeAnna is here???!! This has to be just edited segments intended to make us all wonder if she wants Jason back. I can't imagine it is her that he proposes to when we here him say, "I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

Don't Call Me Tomorrow

I am so ready for the Bacholer's 13th season which airs tomorrow.

I hope they have amazing girls for Jason to choose from. If there are a bunch of bitches I will not be watching.

We are going to hell in a handbag with this one (Jason is the dad of a toddler), but I am obsessed with this damn show.

ABC Spoiler

I am so ridiculously psyched about the new season of The Bachelor. For the first time, the Bachelor will be a single dad.

Set your TIVO for Monday, January 5, 2009 Jason is back! This handsome single dad will star in his own bid for true love for the new searson of The Bachelor.

When DeAnna Pappas, last season's Bachelorette, rejected Jason Mesnick’s marriage proposal a lot of women let out a tribal cry. Was it because they thought she had made a mistake or because they were hoping for their chance at him. Ummmm...

Now Jason gets another shot at romance when he returns to star in the show's 13th season.

Jason is definitely getting his just desserts since DeAnna and Jesse have called off their engagement.

But, don't cry for her Argentina, DeAnna Pappas may not have gotten her happily ever after on reality TV, but she’ll be helping other brides-to-be plan their dream weddings in a Lifetime Network show entitled "Get Married."

I guess of Jason does find love on the show it would be a nice tie in if DeAnna was to help plan his wedding.

ABC, this guy is a sweetie, I hope you have found some nice ladies to woo him.
